Cisco Networking Academy

  • The Cisco Networking Academy program is a comprehensive four semester/280-hour course that teaches students and in-transition workers to design, build, and maintain computer networks. Students are also prepared for industry standard certifications, including Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA™).
  • The SCCOE Regional Cisco Networking Academy is a training center where teachers are taught the curriculum and are then certified to teach the four-semester class at their local academy.
  • The SCCOE Cisco Academy has also been chosen as a Sponsored Curriculum Academy, and teaches Fundamentals of UNIX, sponsored by Sun Microsystems, and the Fundamentals of Web Design, sponsored by Adobe Systems.
  • A 24-seat PC lab, specially installed for the Cisco Academy, is located on the first floor, north building, of the Santa Clara County Office of Education.
