Custom Application Design Services
Our Programming, Applications Support, and Web Design teams offer custom
application design services to meet the needs of the educational community.
Some of those developed and in use include:
- Credentials
This standalone system allows for downloading of state credential
information. The local data store of teacher and credential information
provides for more accurate reporting and follow-up.
- Dental Data System (DDS)
Designed for the School Districts Dental Plan. This application allows
for dental claims processing from the point of receiving and claims entry
to paying the dentist without double-entry into the Accounts Payable
system.
- Head Start: Lesson Plans and Work Orders
The online Lesson Plan System allows teachers to enter their lesson
plans for the whole week and submit them online. The online Work Order
System tracks a work order from initial entry, to the approval and
assignment levels, then to completion. A satisfaction survey is built in,
along with searches and reports.
- KIDS America
Developed for Head Start as a standalone child attendance and
meal-tracking system. Online data entry, federal reporting, eligibility
tracking and follow-up, general reports, and customized ad hoc reports are
features that make this program indispensable to the Head Start staff
which serves 2,000 infants, toddlers, and preschool children.
- Migrant Education
Budget reports are now easily created with Migrant Ed’s new online
tool. Data entry is more accurate and the yearly reports are effortlessly
produced for this broad region which includes Alameda, San Benito, San
Mateo, and Santa Clara counties, serving over 13,000 students.
- Special Education
This attendance tracking and reporting system for SCCOE’s approximate
1400 Special Education students allows for more accurate data gathering
and report preparation.
