NETWORK SERVICES

• The Network and Technical Services staff is dedicated to the professional design, installation, upgrade, and management of data communications networks, ensuring that our communications infrastructure provides the very best performance and availability.
• Network usage is actively monitored for all districts connecting to the SCCOE for Internet and RTC services. We use this data to analyze your bandwidth needs, to troubleshoot traffic problems, and to plan for future growth. You can view a real-time graph of your network usage at http://noc.sccoe.net .
• Network support services are available to schools and school districts to assist with:
• network design and troubleshooting
• router and switch configuration
• wireless installation and support
• content filtering
• new technologies implementation
• E-rate consultation
• network security consultation

COMPUTER SERVICES

• RTC’s trained and certified Network and Technical Services staff members maintain and support the data communications infrastructure and provide desktop support services for the SCCOE and its outlying school sites. These services are available to area school districts on a contract basis.

  Services include, but are not limited to:

• selection assistance, installation, and support for a mixture of computer systems (PC, Mac) and operating systems (Windows, Mac, UNIX)
• software selection, installation, and support
• server support and configuration, maintenance, and backups
